Alpha Read for Chronicles of the Unwoven

I got the huge honor to be an Alpha reader for one of my author friends, which was so fun! Normally, when I alpha read, I don’t know the author as a friend until after, but this time I knew the author as a friend first.

Alpha reading always comes with the cool opportunity of reading the story as it unfolds before everyone else, but also the downside of having to wait extra long to read the end of the story.

My short review of the parts I have read so far:

Reading this book healed a part of me, and this is only the beginning. I can’t wait to see the growth in the story. N.R Farias embodies amazing female rage, female intelligence, queer love, and how to love yourself despite trauma.

I can’t say much yet, but everyone should go follow her @nrfarias_author to follow along on her journey!

She brings unique perspectives to urban fantasy as a queer Brazilian woman in STEM!

She also has a short story out right now: https://shorties.nrfarias.com/
